Who is responsible
Maktric is operated by Markus, based in Surahammar, Sweden. I am the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach me at markus@maktric.com.
What I collect
When you use the contact form I receive the details you enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company
- The message you write
If you email me directly I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. I also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, but only with your consent. See the cookies section below.
Why and on what basis
I use your details to reply to your message and to discuss a possible collaboration. The legal basis is legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request before entering an agreement. I do not use your details for newsletters or mass marketing, and I do not sell them.
How long I keep it
Messages that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, I keep what is needed to deliver the work and to meet legal requirements, such as accounting rules.
Who else handles your data
I use a few service providers to run the site and handle email. They process data on my behalf:
- Webflow, which hosts this website and receives form submissions
- My email provider, which stores the conversation if we correspond
- Google, for analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies
Some of these providers are based outside the EU and EEA. Where that is the case, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used to make the site work. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the site cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. To use any of these rights, email me. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data you can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
